Here at Oakridge Acres we raise purebred
Black Angus cattle as well as bison. Black Angus beef is selected for the natural fine marbling that is present in the meat. This contributes to juicy, tender and exceptionally flavourful meat and is featured in many top end steak house restaurants. We also like Black Angus for their natural mothering traits and their ability to adapt to the outdoor environment.
Our animals are free range which means they are allowed to roam at will through the fields. We do not use antibiotics or growth stimulants. In the event of an illness our first defence is homeopathic medicines. Our cattle’s are on a 100% grass based diet.
